Archive: Halloween Touch
Halloween Touch is an old kids game I made back in college. It was a short project designed to explore how very young children interacted with point-and-click games, and to reinforce ideas like cause-and-effect and object permanence.
You can play the game here on Itch, or via a fullscreen page on my own site.
Halloween Touch was made in Flash and bundled for Android via Adobe Air. It's no longer supported on modern Android devices, and only runs in a few modern browsers. If you're having trouble running the game, you may need to load it up in Desktop Chrome.
All code is MIT licensed. To the extent permissible by law, I'm releasing the game itself and all of its assets under a Creative Commons 0 license. Note that I don't own the sound assets used in the game, and some of them are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution licenses. I've included credits in the game and urls in the original source code that may help you track down their licenses if you want to reuse them.
